Planning Application – September 2023

We are proposing to convert the operational quarry into a site for 75 homes and 57 acres of newly publicly accessible managed parkland. There will also be an education centre for school visits in the former Quarry office which will be near the restored kilns.

The planning application has been made to Surrey County Council as the site remains an operational quarry overseen by the Minerals Planning Authority. The application provides for a revised and early scheme of restoration that will be implemented immediately on receipt of a full planning consent. The principle elements of the proposals are illustrated below.
